
刘爱忠,博士,安徽省全椒县人,西南山地森林资源保育与利用教育部重点实验室副主任,高值木本油料新种质创制与产业化省创新团队带头人,研究员,博士生导师。长期从事在油料种子资源发掘和应用方面的研究,研究成果在国内外具有广泛的影响。在Nucleic Acids Research, Plant physiology, Journal of Cell Science, Genetics,American Journal of Botany, TAXON, BMC Genomics, Planta, Photosynthesis research,Tree genetics and genomes,PLoS One,International Journal of Molecular Sciences等国内外著名期刊发表论文80余篇,发表论文他引次数1000多次(根据Web of Sciences和researchgate 统计)。先后入选中国科拱猪
“百人计划”, “云南省海外高层次人才引进计划”和“泰山学者”。先后主持国家及省部级项目10余项。参与研究项目获云南省自然科学一等奖。工作经历:2001-2006年间,先后于美国Smithsonian研究院、Vanderbilt University从事博士后研究;2006-2008于University of Georgia大学作为研究助理教授(Research Assistant Professor)从事科研工作;2008年10月-2012.12,中国科拱猪

昆明植物研究所,研究员,植物分子遗传与基因工程课题组组长;2012年至今,西南林业大学教授。目前受聘Botanical Research和Austin Cell Biology期刊编委。现任中国蓖麻工程学会理事、中国植物学民族植物学分会理事、云南省植物学会理事,云南省生物多样性和传统知识研究会执行理事长。
研究方向:
- 木本油料种子、基因资源的发掘与利用
重点围绕具有重要经济价值的特种木本油料资源植物(如蓖麻、油茶、蒜头果和星油藤)种子累积特殊脂肪酸的生理与分子机理,着重种子在发育过程中影响或调节油脂累积(油脂含量)或脂肪酸成分生物合成的关键功能基因,通过基因修饰和表达干扰技术(如基因过表达、基因沉默等),阐明关键功能基因在储存脂类生物合成途径中的作用机理,为理解植物储存油脂累积的遗传基础提供理论依据,为旨在提高种子油含量油或脂肪酸成分的基因工程实践提供基因源和技术平台。
- 木本资源植物的功能基因组与表观遗传研究
重点围绕具有重要经济价值的木本非木材资源(如油茶、蓖麻等),利用高通量测序技术,通过RNA-seq(转录组分析)、miRNA-seq、甲基化测序、蛋白组学等,重点解析基因组DNA甲基化对表观遗传(特别是印迹基因)和环境适应的影响机制。
